A series of paintings of configurations of vintage metal and wooden boxes, exploring themes of compartmentalization, containment, etc. while relating to modernist notions of the grid. These paintings are part of a constellation of works including a website, found-object installations, and a video A Curious Inventory that inform each other in a physical-digital feedback loop. This intermedia process helps reinforce the content: fragmented layering of realities in the digital age.
